Group therapy is an affordable approach to counseling in a setting of unity, group interactions, and compassion to and from others who share similar struggles and difficulties.
They are designed specifically to recognize unity and form close relationships that encourage everyone to speak freely and openly.
You are given the opportunity to see your thoughts and emotions, that may be currently holding you back, from a different perspective. By sharing your thoughts with others, you are giving consideration to their opinions.
This opportunity gives you time to dedicate to yourself to address your own needs without being distracted in a place where you are able to express your feelings and thoughts without fear or guilt or judgment.
Group therapy also provides you with the opportunity to address your feelings, emotions, and thoughts without falling deeper into the depths of your struggle by feeling or being isolated or stuck.
People who attend group therapy find it easier to talk about difficult topics, on many occasions, to strangers than to loved ones due to embarrassment or fear of conflict. This helps them to feel less alone.
It is easier to cope with everyday life once you feel some weight has been lifted off of your mind. It can free you from having to worry about specific things all the time and could even set you on a path of improving your mood and achieving your own goals.

What To Expect From Our Groups

Group topics change on a monthly basis and additional groups are added as needed to accommodate size.
Our groups are hosted by a degree qualified, professional facilitator.
Group sizes are small 8-10 people to improve comfort levels.
Each group consists of SIX 45-60 minute sessions for scheduling convenience and are held in the evenings to account for work and school schedules.
The total cost for all 6 sessions is $100 to make counseling affordable to many.
Groups are scheduled and closed for privacy to our participants so you do not need to worry about new people entering the group once it started.
Our groups are designed to address the specific needs of the specific group.
The counselor helps to provide Individual clarity.
With the help of our counselor, the participants provide skills and Ideas to use in your everyday life.
When entering our building, you can expect a welcoming, comfortable, peaceful, relaxing, atmosphere.
